Getaway Inn & Suites is under new ownership and we are committed to providing guests with a relaxing but fun-filled vacation, while still thinking about our environmental impact. We have replaced traditional practices with biodegradable and recyclable methods. Our breakfast materials and trash bags are all biodegradable. In an effort to reduce landfill waste, we have recycled old mattresses, box springs, and appliances. Everyday efforts include recycling of office paper and cardboard. Getaway Inn & Suites is located near the Straits of Mackinac, which connects Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. The Mackinac Bridge is the largest bridge in the Western Hemisphere that allows travelers a connection between Upper and Lower Michigan. This beautiful bridge can be viewed and photographed from the nearby Bridge View Park. We are also within walking distance of the ferry boats where guests may relax during a peaceful sunset cruise or an exciting speedy escort to Mackinac Island. We invite you to experience our newly renovated suites, jacuzzi suites and even family cabins. We have also extended our wireless internet to reach every room. You and your family are welcome to enjoy our beautiful outdoor patio, have a BBQ or build a bonfire. Getaway Inn & Suites is within walking distance of all local attractions such as the ferry docks and 'Bridge View Park'.
